Terms, Shipping & Returns

These terms cover buying from crownedhair.net. Crowned is a brand of Osqr Labs LLC, an Arizona company ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them. Questions about anything here? Email hello@crownedhair.net.

Orders and pricing

• Prices are in U.S. dollars, and we ship to U.S. addresses only.
• One-time orders: $20.00 a jar, and every third jar in an order is free. Up to 8 jars per order.
• Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it.
• Your order is confirmed when payment goes through and you receive a receipt by email. If a price or listing is wrong, or a jar is out of stock, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Shipping

• Orders ship by USPS Ground Advantage from Arizona.
• Shipping on a one-time order is $5.95. Subscription boxes ship free.
• We pack orders on business days, usually within 1 to 2 business days of your order. Delivery usually takes 3 to 7 business days after that.
• You'll get an email with your tracking number when your order ships.
• If tracking shows no movement for 7 business days, or your package arrives damaged, email us with your order number and we'll make it right with a replacement or a refund.
• Please check your shipping address at checkout. If a package comes back to us because of an incorrect address, we'll reship it once you confirm the right address, and you'll pay the new postage.

Returns, refunds and our guarantee

• Try it for 30 days: if Crowned isn't for you, email us within 30 days of delivery and we'll refund the price of one jar. You don't need to send it back. One guarantee refund per customer.
• Unopened jars: return them within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the jars. Email us first and we'll send the return address. Return postage is yours unless we made a mistake.
• Wrong or damaged: if we sent the wrong item, or a jar arrived broken or leaking, email us within 30 days with a photo. We'll send a replacement or refund you, including shipping, and you won't need to send anything back.
• Other opened jars: because it's a personal-care product, we can't take back opened jars beyond the guarantee above. If you have a reaction, stop using it and email us; we'll work it out with you.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days after we approve them. Shipping charges aren't refunded except when we made the mistake.

Subscriptions

Subscribe & save sends you a box of 2 to 8 jars every 4, 6 or 8 weeks, at $20.00 a jar with free shipping. The "every third jar free" offer applies to one-time orders, not subscriptions.

• Automatic renewal: when you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your card the amount shown at checkout (plus any sales tax) right away for your first box, and again every 4, 6 or 8 weeks, as you chose, until you cancel.
• Cancel anytime: use the "Change or cancel your subscription" link in any shipping email, or email hello@crownedhair.net. Cancelling stops all future charges. Boxes you've already been charged for still ship. There's no minimum number of boxes and no cancellation fee.
• Changes: the same link lets you update your card, email or shipping address. To change how many jars or how often, email us.
• Price changes: if the price of your subscription ever changes, we'll email you at least 14 days before the change takes effect, so you can cancel first.
• Failed payments: if a renewal can't be charged, we'll retry the charge over the following days and that box waits until payment goes through. You can update your card from the link in any shipping email. If payment keeps failing, the subscription may be cancelled.

Using the product

Crowned Matte Clay is a cosmetic hair product for external use only. Keep it out of your eyes and away from children. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, check the ingredients and try a small amount first; stop using it if irritation develops. It has not been evaluated for any medical purpose and isn't intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.

The fine print

• Our responsibility: to the extent the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about an order is limited to what you paid for that order, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can't be waived.
• Accounts: if you create an account, keep your password private. You're responsible for orders placed through your account.
• The website: the Crowned name, logo, photos and text belong to us. Please don't copy them for commercial use.
• Governing law: these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If a disagreement comes up, please email us first; most things can be fixed quickly.
• Changes: we may update these terms. Changes apply to orders placed after the update date at the top. Subscription price changes follow the 14-day notice above.
